TV's Sexiest Women Of The 80s Part 2

Following on from the top 5 yesterday (Here) this is the final post celebrating the sexiest actresses on TV in the 80s...

6. Erin Gray as Col. Wilma Deering in Buck Rogers In The 25th Century

Her military credentials may have been questionable but let's face it, who was questioning when she came clad in super clingy purple spandex one piece suit?? It may have been the 25th Century in the show, but in reality it was the 80s and we were suckers for hotties in just such attire (see also The Cannonball Run films)

7. Glynis Barber as Harriet Makepeace in Dempsey and Makepeace

Concentrating on this side of the pond, Glynis Barber certainly enlivened the otherwise formulaic and cliched pap that was Dempsey and Makepeace playing the upper crust smoking hot Detective Sgt Makepeace alongside brash Yank on secondment Dempsey, played by Michael Brandon. The pair did more than Makepeace off set, getting it on and still being married to this day.

8. Judi Trott as Maid Marian in Robin of Sherwood

The definitive adaptation of the legendary outlaw tale also saw the definitive and hottest depiction of Maid Marian thanks to English Rose Judi Trott

9. Veronica Hamel as Joyce Davenport in Hill Street Blues

Like Cybill Shepherd, Veronica had achieved some success as a model before acting. As lawyer Joyce Davenport, and 'secret' squeeze of The Hill's Lt Frank Furillo, she brought some much needed glamour and sophistication to the otherwise gritty tone of what still ranks as one of the finest TV shows ever.

10. Nicola Bryant as Peri Brown in Doctor Who

The mid 80s were not the greatest era Doctor Who ever had script and tone wise, but they were greatly enhanced by the gorgeous Nicola Bryant as the Doctor's companion; possibly the sexiest companion in the show's history. I've said it before and I'll say it again, she got me through my teen years. That she married a Who fan is both  reassuring and teeth kickingly frustrating (that it wasn't me!)

So, do you agree with my top 10? Or do you think I missed someone? Go ahead, tell me in the comments
